Training courses will be implemented in all the project countries for law enforcement authorities, prosecutors and lawyers. As a basis, a Training Needs Assessment (TNA) will be conducted to tailor the training courses to the specific target groups’ needs. These needs will be identified in previous tasks, but further researches could be envisaged. On the basis of the results of the TNA, tailor made multi-disciplinary training courses will be designed and organised, with a focus on training trainers. The training will focus on prompt identification of homo- and transphobic hate crime victims, correct procedures to report these crimes and proper collection of evidence. A victim-centred approach will be adopted by the course. Training courses will be conducted by two or three high-level experts (police officers, prosecutors, judges, lawyers) in each national context.
